Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The kids and I decided to venture to the zoo before school got out for the summer. I thought that we would benefit from having a membership so we can go again and again. Let me tell you....that was a GREAT choice! Such a fun zoo!
Walrus
 Looking at the Walrus
Getting up close and personal with the seal
Where's the seal?!
Oh there it is!
Look at him go!
He swims on his back mama!
I love seals!
Giant walrus
How the kids measure up to a 2 year old polar bear and adult male polar bear.
The polar bear loves the sun.
The kids thought these were Santa's reindeer.
Beautiful Washington sky!
The muskoxen is shedding his winter coat.
Wishing we had our Duck Commander duck call.
A little lollipop treat after lunch.
Mmmmmm....lollipop!
Mommy for the win!
Such pretty Asian Elephants.
The kids loved the elephants.
Lollipop break.
Sleepy tapir.
Tristan got a kick out of the "ooooh-ooooh aaaaah-aaaaahs!"
Peaceful baby cub. (Mom abandoned it because she only had one and apparently they are difficult to care for.)
Agitated porcupine.
Fish time!
"I will call you my squishy and you will be mine! You will be my Squishy!"
Such a neat aquarium with tons of different types of fish.
Elizabeth getting a hands on education.
Emilia was brave enough to touch too!
Touching a starfish.
Tristan was showing me his favorite fish.
This fish was almost as big as Elizabeth.
Shark watching
SHARK!
Inside the mouth of a great white shark.
Looking for food???
Time to take a photo break.
Now let's play in the kids zone!
Timon!

So much fun! I can't wait to go back!
